Ours are made by one manufacturer to meet each other, which is why the finished edge looks like part of the house instead of something added to it.

Will the copper turn green?
It changes, and that is the point. New copper is bright, then it darkens, then it develops a patina. How quickly depends on your climate, how exposed the run is, and what comes off the roof. It is a living material, not a coating that fails. If you want the look to stay exactly as installed, black painted steel holds its color.
